Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador hosted its annual conference and trade show at the Delta in St. John’s, March 1-3.

To conclude the three days of networking and information sessions, HNL hosted the annual Tourism Excellence Awards Gala on Thursday night. The Tourism Excellence Awards Gala featured the presentation of the Tourism Excellence Awards, which recognize the outstanding tourism leaders and businesses that make great contributions to the provincial tourism industry.

Adventure Central Newfoundland nominated numerous local operators in all but one award category, but nobody expected what was about to happen.  Local operators came home with four awards, which is a strong sign that tourism operators are doing things right in Adventure Central.

Adventure Central Newfoundland would like to congratulate all award winners, especially our members, who work hard to put Central on the world tourism map.
